Morning After Update - First Development Milestone Reached!
Hey there, everyone! I'm here with a status update on the next story release for Freshmen: Physical Education, The Morning After Update. As the post title says, the first development milestone has been reached—I've completed an early dev build that adds new story content for Matt, Evan, Owen, & Julian!
A "dev build" in this context is an early, in-progress version of the game that has a significant chunk of content fully implemented but not all of the content that will be in the final version. Each dev build marks a big task off my checklist, and since there's playable content, I share these dev builds with higher tier Patreon patrons as a sneak peek.

New Story Content
This current dev build includes:
- Continuing the storylines that ended at Matt's apartment
- Hooking up with Leo
- Passing out drunk
- NEW: A sober way to stay over without hooking up
- Continuing the storylines that ended at the frat house
- Hooking up with Julian & Owen
- NEW: The beginning of a new romance path for Evan
- 20 new CGs featuring Matt, Evan, Owen, & Julian, plus a few supporting players
New Romance
Yes, you read that right, Evan fans—as many of you requested, Evan has been upgraded to a romanceable character! As I wrote his new scenes, I realized that it just made sense for both Connor and Evan to want to pursue that path. Evan's story continuation is very cute and very hot, and I'm excited to show even more of him as the game develops.
Here's a look at the first of several new Evan CGs, which unlocks through a new option that lets you watch over him after he passes out at the party:

There's still more on its way as every guy's storyline continues the morning after you made all your big choices. What's now being created includes:
- Follow-ups to the stories that ended at Griffin's place and in your dorm room
- A continuation through the day from the showers to your classes with Tomas & Will
- An optional encounter with Will that follows up on your earlier proposition
- An optional explicit sequence after class (which I do hope you opt to play!)
The next development milestone will be a dev build that adds waking up at Griffin's place and the many various ways you can wake up in your dorm room. There currently isn't an ETA as to when this build will be done, but I'll make a post here when I have news.

We recently passed the two year anniversary of the game first being posted here on Itch.io. The game has grown so much since then, and it's the continued interest from all of you that has kept me diligently working away. Thank you for following along with the game's development—a lot more fun stuff is on its way!

How do I get the morning after update?
It is still being created and hasn't been released yet. I have an early preview available as an incomplete build, which has stuff for Matt, Owen, Evan, & Julian. But that's only on Patreon. The full release will be free on here after an early access period, so don't feel like you need to join to continue the story!
So when will i be able to play it? Sorry I didn't understand very well
There isn't a release date yet. I will make a post on here when there is one. If you follow me, you'll get an email when I make that post.
Hi, regarding the translation if you want I can do it for free in French. My English is not very good but I would be able to translate it into good French without spelling mistakes. I understand that you don't want to entrust me with the game but if possible you just send me the texts in order so that I have the context and I put the translation below. I don't ask for anything in exchange😊 I love your game so if I can help a little bit it will be with pleasure 🤗
I appreciate the offer, but I have a policy against using volunteer work since this will be a product for sale. There is so much dialogue that asking someone to do a translation for free would feel unethical. If I ever do have the funds to hire translators, I'll definitely put a call out, though!

Minor Request:
Do you think you could add like a Chart of Pictures of all the Male Characters we can Romance/Fuck to the Main Page/Pictures?
I've seen other games do that, and I think it's a great idea---makes people go "Ooo! I l like him! ....and he's hot too! and oh that one is sexy......I need to play this game!"

It will! When the full Morning After Update is done it'll go into early access on Patreon for four weeks, then it'll be posted here on Itch.io for free. Once I know those dates I'll make a post to announce it.
Will there be some version in Portuguese? I really want to play
I want to do translations, but it'll have to wait until I have the funds to hire translators, unfortunately. I don't know when that will be.

So, what do you mean with follows up on your earlier proposition with Will?
You'll have the chance after class to ask Will about potentially hooking up now that you gave hanging out with other students a try. It can lead to some very sexy stuff that I don't want to spoil. I've been anxiously waiting to make this sequence for a long time now!
If you're playing a Connor that doesn't want to get with Will, it's entirely skippable.
Why should I want to skip it? !🤪🤪 When do you think this part of the new update will be ready?
I'm not sure yet. Right now I'm creating the portions where you wake up in your dorm room or Griffin's apartment. That's followed by a couple of other sequences, and then we reach Will's stuff. I'll post on here when I have a concrete idea of when it'll be done.
evan is adorable i feel so much of him in myself not in the looks department but in the clumsy and the i dont know where i am or what im doing lol im glad he is a romancable character now yay i am soo happy about the new update i cant wait
His morning sequence is probably my favorite right now, I hope you enjoy it when you get to play 🙂

I don't think it even occurred to me Evan wouldn't be a romance option to begin with. You've written his personality—as with all the guys—so well-developed, even just from his introduction and the party, that I assumed we'd be able to romance him properly at some point.
Evan went through a big evolution from initial idea to who he is now. The original idea was for a classmate you'd occasionally see and could hook up with, and the name and personality were totally different. That version of the character wasn't meant to be seen anywhere except class/between classes.
When I couldn't get the character to look like I wanted, I messed around in Daz until I came up with Evan, and how he looked led to a personality change. I liked writing his and Connor's interactions so much that I wrote him into the party, and I went on to realize I wanted to keep writing more scenes with him.
So he's the only romance that wasn't preplanned and just happened organically—kind of like meeting someone unexpectedly in real life, I suppose!
This was definitely the right choice. I really like the turn you took with him, how he was all shy and quirky at first and then turned into a wild party guy after a couple drinks, that's just adorable. I guess we all can agree that Evan's shy personality is really intriguing.
Evan is interesting to write because he can be so oblivious in a funny and cute way, but also so casually confident about stuff Connor hasn't experienced yet. I have some fun scenarios planned for him, one of which gets set up when you reunite for classes in the full update.
