Day One, Part 2 Release Schedule
Hi everyone! Thank you to everyone that's checked out the game's intro. It's so exciting to see so much interest this early in development!
I have some news on the next game update! Early access to part 2 of Day One was just released over on Patreon. Now that this update is out, I can provide the exact dates everyone else can check out the update, too.
Patreon Juniors & Seniors - 4 weeks early access: 17 February 2022
Patreon Sophomores - 3 weeks early access: 24 February 2022
Everyone - Free public release: 17 March 2022
This update is narrative-focused. It introduces a lot of new characters that Connor can have fun with as the game progresses and comes to a close with two different tease endings.
I'm diving right into part 3 so I can get it out as quickly as possible and lessen the time between these releases. Part 3 involves a lot of sexy CGs, and I don't want you to wait too long to see them :)

Before I start, this game is lit, I love it!
For my question (And I'm sorry if I look stupid because this site is still new to me), I wonder how to get the last update, should I install it from where exactly?
Because I thought if I only downloaded the game from the main page it'll be up to date, but as it arrived at the scene where I was talking with the dancer and said to Matt I'm coming to hang out, the game ended.
I see from the posts that there are a lot of chapters already released with further events so I'm confused. Could you please help me understand what I'm missing here?

Hey there, glad you're enjoying the game! The download files on the main page are always the latest free release version, and based on what you wrote about talking to Isaiah, you have that version.
The latest free version ends when you get to pick whether to go to Matt's apartment, the frat party, or the club. If you're looking for the version of the game where you can go to Matt's apartment, that's currently only available in early access for Patreon patrons.
The update with Matt's apartment will be put up here for free on 3 September, so a little less than a month. If you don't mind paying for Patreon, you can pick it up now at patreon.com/FreshmenVN. Right now it's just up for $10/$15 USD patrons, but it'll be in early access for $6 patrons on the 13th.

Loved the game! I like how all the guys that we get to know so far have their own personality and boundaries, which made some of the flirting rather awkard and/or exiciting. It was really entartaining and the characters have believable personalities. I am looking forward to see where this goes! Especially with Matt and Will (separately, lol,) I am a sucker for friends to lovers stories, and the "daddy"/"son" vibes I got form Will at some points was so hot. Also, Tomas is a very interesting character.
Btw, I am sorry if you have been asked before, but after the conversation with Matt in the last update, I am curious about your plans for the implementation of the relationships in the future. Without going into story spoilers, will they be more akin to a sex simulator, where everyone has sex with everybody and MC's "relationships" are always open relationships (e.g. Robin Morningwood, Medieval Times, House Party...etc) or more like a dating VN where you can play the field at the beginning and then choose a monogamous/poly route with a specific story for each guy(s)? (e.g. Andromeda 6, HumanCargo, Synthetic lover... etc) I personally enjoy more the latter more, because it gives me better replayability. I also rather monogamous relationships, although I am not opposed to group sex or poly offered as options, should the player choose pursue them. Kind of like what you have done with the fantasies, which I think you have implemented very nicely, since I was not left feeling like I missed out when I chose the one to one options.
PS: I liked the game so much, that I am thinking about becoming a member of your Patreon a the beginning of June!
I'm so glad you're enjoying the game! It's more a dating sim than a sex simulator, though I plan to offer plenty of opportunities to hook up if the player wants to.
You can play the field early on, but later down the line if you form a closer relationship with someone you can ask if they want to date (or they may ask you). Some guys only want monogamy and some are into open relationships. Some guys aren't ready for/looking for a relationship. And even with sex, some guys are open to immediately hooking up and some need to be worked up to. So just like these early parts, each guy has their own desires and wants.
Thank you for your reply! I really like the variety you mention in regards to preferences, because it increases replayability and adds to the characters' personalities. I better prepare to sort the playthrough saves! haha. I look forward to see what you have in store.
are you always going to put the versions for free after putting them to the supporters?
That's the plan for right now, but it may change at some point in the future. For now I know for sure that the first two sections of the game will be free here. There will be 10 sections in total.
does freshman tier get early access
Freshman tier is just to throw a few dollars my way to support development. The early access tiers are Sophomore and above.
